TRTCC Upcoming Practices, Torma Workshop, August 20 – 24, 2025

Dear Dharma Friends,

This week, Wednesday evening is Manjushri practice. On Saturday and Sunday, Ven. Lama Kalsang will be giving a Torma workshop. Registration info is below!

Upcoming events: On September 13 & 14,  Most Venerable Khenchen Konchog Gyaltshen Rinpoche, the founder of our Dharma center, will be giving teachings on Bodhichitta. Registration for Khenchen Rinpoche’s teaching weekend is open here. This event will be limited in person to 25 attendees.

On August 23 & 24, Ven. Lama Kalsang will be giving a Torma workshop. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the meaning, uses, and construction of Tormas, which are essential to our lineage’s practices. Registration for the torma workshop is open here.

The schedule for the Torma Workshop will be as follows (all times are EST/New York time):

8/23/25, Saturday: 10a – 12p, 1:30p – 3:00p
8/24/25, Sunday: 10a – 12p, 1:30p – 3p

Wednesday, August 20, 7pm. Manjushri practice. Online and in person. Manjushri is the embodiment of perfect wisdom. He is often depicted as wielding a flaming sword in the right hand which cuts through ignorance, attachment, and delusion, and holding in the left hand a lotus flower containing the Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra, the Sutra of the Perfection of (Transcendent) Wisdom. Ven. Lama Kalsang will lead.  Join us on Zoom.



Please be advised: Masks remain optional for our in person practices at the center but we encourage you to please act with caution . We do ask that only fully vaccinated people come in to the center. We will be running the air purifier in the common area. If you are not feeling well or have had a recent exposure to COVID, please ensure that you are negative with a home test before coming in or please join us online.
