Wednesday evening practice this week is Manjushri. On Saturday, January 24 & 31, and Sunday, January 25 & February 1, 2026, Ven. Khenpho Choephel is returning to Pittsburgh to offer teachings on the Realization Songs of Jigten Sumgon Ratna Shri. Please see below for more information and the registration link!

Wednesday, January 21, 7pm. Manjushri practice. Online and in person. Manjushri is the embodiment of perfect wisdom. He is often depicted as wielding a flaming sword in the right hand which cuts through ignorance, attachment, and delusion, and holding in the left hand a lotus flower containing the Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra, the Sutra of the Perfection of (Transcendent) Wisdom. On Saturday, January 24 & 31, and Sunday, January 25 & February 1, 2026, Ven. Khenpho Choephel will offer teachings on the Realization Songs of Jigten Sumgon Ratna Shri. Please join us on Zoom or in-person at the center.
The teaching schedule for all days will be: 10a – 12p, 1:30p – 3:30p EST. We are suggesting a donation of $50 for each weekend. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Donations for this event may be made online here, at the center in the donation box, or Zelle (the Zelle QR code is included at the bottom of this email!)
All teachings will be held at Three Rivers Tibetan Cultural Center, 7313 Florence Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15218 If attending in person, you may bring a lunch or go out. The center will provide tea / coffee.
Please be advised: Masks remain optional for our in person practices at the center but we encourage you to please act with caution . We do ask that only fully vaccinated people come in to the center. We will be running the air purifier in the common area. If you are not feeling well or have had a recent exposure to COVID, please ensure that you are negative with a home test before coming in or please join us online.
